Coastal Stewardship Network Conference 2015

The 8th Coastal Stewardship Network Annual Gathering was held at Kay Llnagaay, May 25 to 28, 2015 on Haida Gwaii. The gathering brought together stewardship staff from First Nations on the North Coast, Central Coast and Haida Gwaii to share information, discuss, and strategize about important issues related to governing our territories, including monitoring, managing, and protecting our resources. It was a unique opportunity to build collaborations, unity, and action in support of First Nations stewardship on the coast. This year, attendance at the gathering was opened up to non Coastal First Nations who were also interested in learning and sharing. There were guests from northern Vancouver Island, Northwest Territories, and southern Alaska.
