Learning Exchanges

The Coastal Guardian Watchmen Network facilitates learning exchanges for members to share knowledge and experiences about their work, to strengthen connections between communities, and to build solidarity with organizations that share the Coastal Guardian Watchmen's vision.

Coastal Guardian Watchmen Visit Australia

In August 2011, a delegation from the Coastal First Nation's Guardian Watchmen Network  travelled to northern Australia to meet with Aboriginal rangers who are part of the North Australia Indigenous Land and Sea Management Alliance (NAILSMA).   They participated in NAILSMA's I-Tracker Research Forum, met with community elders and went on patrol with the Djelk rangers.
