Regional Monitoring Strategy

Local Guardian Watchmen are collaborating and coordinating their monitoring efforts throughout the region. They have identified key priority issues that will be monitored over time:

Sport Fishing
Tourism
Enforcement
Crab
Eulachon
Whales
Bears

The best indicators for monitoring each issue have been selected and standard monitoring methodologies and protocols chosen. An online data management system will allow local Guardian Watchmen programs to share data, analyze regional trends and report information in ways that meet the needs of their communities.
